INTRODUCTION
The struggle of churches has often been to keep the
Biblical balance of demonstrating Christ's love and standing for the truth
Churches, generally, tend to follow the latest fad in ministry or personal
preferences. The early seventies "discipleship" became the new wave in
the church. The lack of "worship" was noticed and then worship was the
priority above all else. Followed by the "small group" cry for
fellowship. Evangelism became less and less a specific emphasis or it became
redefined as outreach. All of these points of ministry emphasis are essential.
The unfortunate result of emphasizing one point has often been a sacrifice of
balance in ministry. The struggle of churches has often been to keep the
biblical balance of demonstrating Christ's love and standing for the truth.
Recent studies are indicating the danger of smaller churches closing at an
increasing rate. Churches, regardless of size, are increasingly facing struggles
from a variety of influences. One of the reasons appears to be the lack of being
able to define a direction or vision for the future of the church. Many church
growth programs are designed to implement a specific plan or program to produce
growth. However, the programs often fail to take into consideration the specifics
of a particular ministry. Further, there is often no follow-up individually with
the church or pastor.

Biblically Balanced Ministries seeks to help the local church discover a
for the future of the church. A strategy is then developed to help the
local church reach the vision. A team of resource people and ministries are
networking together to help in implementing the strategy.
A foundation to this ministry is building biblical balance in relationships
The strength of a church is only as strong as the believers in the church and
their relationships. Based on this conviction, the ministries of BBM focus on
the individual through applying the principles of balance to the believer and his

OUR GOALS
Acts 2:42,47 states, "They were continually devoting themselves to the
apostles teaching [discipleship] and to fellowship, to breaking of bread and
prayer . . .praising God [worship] . . .And the Lord added to their number day
by day [evangelism] . . . " These verses demonstrate the balance of the
Christian life and Church ministry. Biblically Balanced Ministries, Inc. has been
established out of a recognition of the need for a ministry to help equip
Christians and churches to live and minister with this balance.
A Biblically Balanced Ministry is defined as a ministry that demonstrates
Christ's love for people and commitment to the truth of God's Word. The four-fold
manifestation includes: Discipleship (teaching and training for ministry),
Fellowship (caring and serving others), Worship (honoring and glorifying God),
and Evangelism (reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ).
The OBJECTIVES are:

– to RECOGNIZE what God is using to reach & minister to people.
– to RETAIN focus on the glory of God & the truth of the Word of God
– to REACH OUT in evangelism & missions
– to REFRESH love for God & others
BBM seeks to fulfill its mission through the ministries of seminar/workshops,
consulting, strategic planning, conferences, and resource development of people
and programs.
